Hello Kai – there’s the rub! The glass is the one delicate part of the lamps, which are otherwise wonderfully sturdy, and it’s virtually impossible to find a replacement. That’s why complete lamps with the original glass are so much more valuable. If you find a source for spare glasses, let me know!

someone broke the glass of my beloved FASE lamp..as you seem to know a lot about the spanish design market; do you by any chance have an idea where to find a spare one?? thanks for this great blog! kai

Pues sí, por desgracia los contenedores de basura son una buena fuente de piezas históricas… Hace un par de meses rescaté una silla de Antoni de Moragas y Rafael Marquina, de 1954, en perfecto estado. Por lo menos, somos ya unos cuantos los que nos vamos fijando y recuperamos este patrimonio!
